I was humbled to receive a medal for the support of the Ukrainian Defence Forces from the Minister of Defence @oleksiireznikov @DefenceU

Extremely grateful to Australia \\ud83c\\udde6\\ud83c\\uddfafor the consistent military assistance.

This recognition is special to me for two reasons. Firstly, it is my first government issued acknowledgement in my 16 months in public service. Secondly, since my Embassy does not have a Defence Attache, it is the achievement of my small team Vsevolod Mytsyk and Ludmyla Andriyenko, who including myself had to learn quickly to understand weapon platforms, military equipment and defence industry.

I am thankful for the excellent collaboration with the Minister’s team, many Australians who have been advising me and of course the proactive Ukrainian community in Australia @Ozeukes
