The Defender was hit by a mine. He lost part of his leg, so a team of paramedics immediately took him to the nearest stabilization center, providing assistance on the way.

Russians followed the evacuation vehicle from the air and shot at it with a drone. One of the medics was killed on the spot, and the Defender sustained shrapnel injuries. The medics who survived managed to bring him to a stabilization center and then transported him to a hospital in Dnipro.
